  • A Surplus pod requires approximately 173 square feet of level floor space, with dimensions of 15 feet 2.5 inches wide by 11 feet 4 inches deep, and a ceiling height of 7 feet 10.5 inches. The pod is fully self-supporting and does not require any floor anchoring, construction, or structural modifications. No drilling, bolting, or permanent installation is needed. Pods can be placed on any flat, level surface within a building, including lobbies, common areas, amenity spaces, or other underutilized areas. Installation is designed to be fast and minimally disruptive, with no impact to building operations.

  • Surplus requires no upfront capital expenditure. We install, operate, and maintain the on-site retail pod at our cost. Properties provide a small amount of space and standard power. There is no staffing, inventory management, or operational burden for the property.

  • Once live, Surplus is a fully hands-off amenity. We manage the technology, product assortment, restocking, and day-to-day operations through Surplus OS. The property’s role does not change after installation.
